A Continuing Life Story - Where I've Been Thus Far

Originally hailing from the North East, Matthew grew up in New Hampshire where he discovered early his passion for Musical Theatre. Once school-oriented shows were not enough, he branched out into community theatre and realized his dreams of making his passion a career and took on the pursuit through college study.

Matthew graduated from Plymouth State University with a BA in Theatre Arts and an emphasis in Musical Theatre, under the guidance of Dr. Kathleen Arecchi. With New England-oriented Summer Stock, a Domestic Exchange to the Cap 21 Studio at NYU, and a lot of effort, Matthew immediately received his Equity Membership Candidacy right out of college with the Allenberry Playhouse in Boiling Springs PA.

Setting up base in NY after college,  Matthew performed regionally with the Millbrook Playhouse and Black Box Studios, and traveled the country on the National Tour of CAMELOT as Lancelot with Candlewood International.

Following a brief stint in Tennesee, Matthew finally made his way to the West Coast, where he now resides happily and has been constantly working ever since.

Matthew has finally made the leap in to the professional realm with his Union Status in a three show haul back at the 5th with "Pirates of Penzance" the "Oliver!" and the World Premier Musical "Second Hand Lions"
